30Plants Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 2026

30Plants was built to help you track your dietary diversity without invading your privacy. The short version is simple: we do not collect, sell, or have access to your personal data, food logs, or health information.

Because 30Plants operates entirely on your device and your personal Apple accounts, the data you generate belongs to you.

1. Information You Provide

30Plants does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or log in.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

When you log foods, add custom plants, or save recipes, that data is stored locally on your device in a private database. We do not have access to this information.

3. iCloud Synchronization (Pro Feature)

If you purchase 30Plants Pro, the app uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to synchronize your logged entries and custom foods across your devices.

4. Apple Health and HealthKit

30Plants can optionally read your "Dietary Fiber" totals from Apple Health to display alongside your plant statistics.

5. Purchases and Payments

30Plants Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple's App Store. We do not process, collect, or have access to your credit card information, billing address, or identity. Apple provides us only with an anonymous receipt confirming whether the app was purchased.

6. Analytics and Tracking

30Plants does not use any third-party analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting tools. We do not track how you use the app, and we do not use advertising frameworks.

The app periodically fetches a plain text file from our servers so we can display developer announcements (like new feature updates) inside the app. This request does not include any personal identifiers.

Our website, get30plants.com, is a static webpage. It does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your data belongs to you and is stored on your device and your private iCloud account, you are in full control of deleting it:

8. Changes to This Policy

If we introduce new features that change how data is handled—such as future anonymous community features—we will update this policy and explain exactly what has changed before you opt in.

9. Contact

If you have any questions about this privacy policy or how your data is handled, please contact us at [email protected].
